This reduced tip, fast response, stainless steel, penetration probe is moisture-resistant and ideal for continuous monitoring in ovens or similar. Supplied with a 1.2-metre stainless steel braided lead. Response time less than four seconds.

I'm really glad these are

I'm really glad these are still available. My ChefAlarm is going strong but the probes (or more likely the connecting wire) seem to last about 6 years use before they give up - I guess shutting them in the Aga oven door does it. Otherwise an excellent, simple and reliable cooking aid.
