Yes. It measured the temperature as designed to do. It does not do anything else. I didn't expect it to do anything else. Why would I?

Excellent
Bought it to clip on a jacket or rucksack for skiing and hiking. Does exactly what I bought it for. Seems good quality and unlike the ones you see on Amazon. Battery life still to be determined but I am optimistic as it’s possible to turn it off when not in use. Love it.
