Fill out the form below

Enter your details into our online Returns Form below.
Under ‘Reason for Return’, select ‘Repair’ for faulty equipment, ‘Recalibration’ to fix thermometers with inaccurate readings or ‘UKAS & Traceable’ to have your thermometer readings certified. Add as much information as possible to help us diagnose your issue.

Confirmation email

After you have submitted your online form, you will receive an automated confirmation email with your unique case number and details of how to send your instrument to us.

Post your item

Send your instrument back to us to be repaired. Please package it securely and include the unique
case number inside.

Pay your invoice

Our service and repairs team will contact you with a pro forma invoice detailing the cost of the repair or service. Once this has been paid, we will begin to carry out work on your item. Please pay your invoice as quickly as possible to ensure your thermometer is returned to you swiftly. You can pay by bank transfer or by telephone (for payments under £500).

Your instrument will be repaired

Once we have received your payment, we will aim to repair or service your thermometer within five to seven working days. You can view the status of your repair in your online account, and you will receive email confirmations with each update.

Receive your item

We will send you a confirmation email once the work has been completed and your instrument is safely on its way back to you. Want to receive a quote before you send your instrument in? Contact us here with as much detail as possible about your repair or calibration requirements, and a member of our team will get in touch.

Service & Repairs

All products purchased directly are covered under warranty. The length of this varies depending on the product.

ETI-manufactured instruments: carry a minimum two-year guarantee against defects in either components or workmanship.

Temperature probes: carry a six-month guarantee against defects in either components or workmanship.

Non-ETI-manufactured instruments: carry a one-year guarantee against defects in either components or workmanship.

During the guarantee period, all products that prove to be defective will, at the discretion of ETI, be either repaired or replaced without charge. These guarantees do not cover damage caused by fair wear and tear, abnormal storage conditions, incorrect use, accidental misuse, abuse, neglect, misapplication, or modification.

Full details of liability are available within ETI's Terms & Conditions. In line with our policy of continuous development, we reserve the right to amend our product specification without prior notice.

Warranty conditions and warranty periods are defined in the documentation supplied with every ETI product. For additional information take a look at the first question about warranties.

In order to get your produtc(s) serviced or repaired, please take a look and fill in the online Returns Form below.

We do not recommend attempting to self-repair our products. This will void all warranty.

If you have received a faulty item, or the item has been broken due to defects in either components or workmanship within its warranty period, no cost will be applied.

If items are broken outside of their guarantee, or if breakages are caused by the customer, our Service and Repairs team will invoice you the associated cost for fixing the item.

Once the Service and Repairs team have received your item, the process of fixing and returning your order should take no longer than five to seven working days.

What Customers Say?
We bought a cooking thermometer years ago. It needed a replacement battery. I could not remove the cover, made a mess of the slot you are supposed to use to twist. I called the company, spoke to a human being right away. They told me to send it to them. I did and they sent a replacement, no quibbles. Why can't all companies be like this?
Stirling S.
I bought my Thermapen 18 months ago and had a problem with it. I contacted them and sent it back for a warranty repair, got it back today and it’s like new and re-calibrated.
