This water-resistant digital fridge thermometer incorporates a large and clear digital display that indicates temperature over the range of -9.9 to 49.9 °C with a 0.1 °C resolution.
The food safety zone icon will remain on the screen whilst within the range of 0 and 5°C and will flash to indicate being outside of this range.
The fridge thermometer's energy-saving feature turns the unit off when the unit is deprived of light, maximising battery life. The thermometer is powered by a single CR2032 battery with a life expectancy of 10,000 hours.
The fridge thermometer is housed in a robust ABS case that measures 26 x 45 x 73 mm and can be free-standing or hung from a shelf in the fridge..

Accurate Fridge Temperature

This device goes to sleep inside your fridge, but it wakes up when you open the door and within a second or 2 you know whether your fridge is at the temperature it should be keeping. I have had other fridge thermometers before that keep the electronics outside and the probe inside via a wire but even though such wires are thin they do create a gap that lets cold air out and warm humid air into your fridge or freezer and is far from ideal. This one beats the lot - if only there was a version for a freezer but I guess battery technology prevents that.

I bought 2 as I wanted to check that they would give the same reading in the same position. The readings were very nearly the same, so I am able to trust them both and use them, 1 in each of my 2 fridges. I had not been able to trust a previous thermometer from a different company.
