The Thermapen First Foods baby thermometer has a unique rounded tip designed for soft foods and liquids. It reads the temperature in just three seconds, so you don't have to waste precious seconds keeping a hungry baby waiting. The instrument automatically turns on when you open the probe and switches off once closed, so you don't have to spend time fiddling with buttons. It will also power off automatically after ten minutes to maximise battery life.

Babies and young children are especially vulnerable to bacteria that cause food poisoning, so practising food safety using a thermometer is essential all the way from milk to solid foods. The Thermapen First Foods casing is splashproof for easy cleaning, and the rubber seal minimises the risk of the ingress of water, dust or food. In addition, the casing includes Polygiene BioMaster product protection which is proven to inhibit the growth of most types of harmful bacteria. The probe also tucks into the side of the thermometer for safe storage.
The Thermapen First Foods thermometer will power off automatically after ten minutes, maximising battery life.

What temperature should baby milk and food be?
Your baby only needs breast milk or first infant formula milk. Baby milk serving temperature is 36.5–37.5 °C (body temperature).
Your baby's first foods might include vegetable purees, fruit purees and a variety of mashed foods, including potato, lentils and porridge. The serving temperature for baby food is 21-37.5 °C.
By now, your baby will be eating three meals a day and having family foods which might include favourites such as shepherd's pie, curries and pasta sauces. These should first be cooked to a safe temperature (for most foods such as poultry, minced meat and reheated foods, this is 74 °C, see our full temperature guide here) and then cooled to a serving temperature of 4-46 °C.

Very good I was recommended one of these & it doesn't disappoint, working on a burger restaurant it comes up the the temperature almost instantly which makes my life a hell of a lot easier.
