Thermapen Classic features
The Thermapen digital food thermometer's large display shows precise temperature measurements with a 0.1 °C resolution. It features a wide temperature range of -49.9 to 299.9 °C.
Both low battery (icon) and open circuit indications are displayed when applicable. Each Thermapen is powered by two lithium coin cell batteries, with a minimum life expectancy of 1500 hours. The food probe thermometer will power off automatically after ten minutes, maximising battery life.
The Thermapen Classic is fully configurable using switches in the battery compartment. Here you can disable auto-off mode, switch between °C and °F, or choose between a 1° and 0.1° resolution. For the user manual, brochure and trim adjustment instructions click the 'download' tab above.

Maintaining a hygienic catering thermometer probe is essential for food businesses. The Classic's splashproof, washable casing includes Polygiene Biomaster product protection technology that reduces bacterial growth. The ergonomic rubber seal minimises the risk of the ingress of water, dust, or food.
Folding meat thermometers are ideal for protecting your probe from damage while making it easy to transport and keep on hand throughout the day. The Thermapen Classic features a reduced tip, stainless steel penetration probe (Ø3.3 x 110 mm) that rotates 180° and folds into the side of the instrument for safe storage.
With a range of colours available, the Thermapen thermometers can become part of your HACCP and due diligence procedures. Colour coding allows you to use your catering thermometer probes for different food types or preparation areas. This reduces the risk of cross-contamination, which is key for managing foodborne illnesses and allergens.

I’ve been using these digital food thermometers for years in my fast food street cart. It gives me a quick accurate reading so I have confidence that my food is cooked properly without having to wait for more than 3seconds. In a busy environment my customers don’t have to wait for long to be served :+1:

Couldn’t live without my thermapen. It goes with me everywhere and I have bought at least 8 as gifts! Chicken is always safe to eat and not dry and overcooked as it used to be. Great for just checking that dishes of lasagne for example are hot enough in the middle, sausages are cooked but not frazzled and also helps to get a fruit cake perfectly baked. I use mine every day and the booklet that accompanies it is a big help until you learn the appropriate temperatures. Would highly recommend you treat yourself and others!
