Designed and manufactured in the UK, The RayTemp Blue infrared non-contact thermometer incorporates many of the features of the RayTemp 2, but with Bluetooth wireless technology.
Simply connect to your host device (iOS or Android), press and hold the measure button and aim the thermometer at the target to display the surface temperature and securely transmit the data via a secure connection of up to 50 meters.
The unit incorporates a 5:1 optic ratio (target distance/ diameter ratio) and therefore the thermometer should be positioned as close to the target as possible. The default emissivity is 0.95 but can be changed from 0.1 to 1, if required. The unit does not incorporate laser alignment, which will appeal to those who are health and safety conscious and do not require this feature.
The RayTemp Blue infrared thermometer features a large, easy-to-read LCD display with low battery indication and an auto-power-off facility that turns the instrument off after 10 minutes, maximising battery life.
Each unit is housed in a robust ABS case that contains Polygiene BioMaster product protection which reduces bacterial growth and is powered by three
AAA batteries that give a minimum of 3000 hours of battery life.
ThermaData Hub Beta
Our new software platform, is now available for early access testing. Replacing ThermaData Studio (below), it not only manages all ETI WiFi Loggers, but now allows users to configure HACCP checklists, and contains new ways to analyse temperature data. Checks can be completed via a new mobile App, which connects to all ETI Bluetooth Thermometers.

The design could be made more suitable for use especially when the user needs to carry a smart phone to check the reading sent by the thermometer via the bluetooth connection.
