This max/min and alarm thermometer indicates temperature over the range of -24.9 to 69.9 °C with a resolution of 0.1 °C/°F and an accuracy of ±1 °C.
The thermometer features a large, easy to read LCD display, max/min memory function to record the highest and lowest temperatures and a high/low programmable audible alarm. The unit incorporates two temperature sensors, a remote water resistant probe with one metre PVC lead for the appliance temperature and an internal sensor for the room temperature.
The remote probe can be mounted onto a wall using the suction pad or mounting bracket supplied. Housed in a durable ABS case the thermometer incorporates a foot-stand for shelf mounting.

I received two of these. The first was 'ticking' when it arrived, had nothing on its display and was completely useless. The only way to stop the ticking was to remove the battery. I contacted ETI and they sent me a replacement without asking for the original to be returned. The replacement was NOT ticking when it arrived and the displayed temperature changed when the probe was gripped in the hand. However, as soon as an attempt was made to set an alarm temperature, the display went blank and the device started ticking! A fmiliar story. Another call to ETI produced a refund and an instruction to "dispose of the two devices as you see fit". I can't fault the company; their service was excellent but the sam cannot be said of this product.

The first thermometer sent was faulty, but it was immediately replaced without question and the new one arrived the next day. My only issues with it are is that the control buttons are a bit small and fiddly and lead is rather short - I could do with it being about twice as long. Otherwise it is fine.

Good value, alarm a little weak but what can you expect from such a small device, a fog horn? During the really hot day,19-7-22, I left it in full sunlight in my car and the front shivelled up but it still works but I am not complaining, it was my fault!
