The Thermapen IR Blue infrared Bluetooth thermometer combines the latest Bluetooth technology with the versatility of the Thermapen IR. Easily switch between surface and internal temperature readings whilst wirelessly transferring the data to your device for a robust paperless backup.
Infrared features
The Thermapen IR Blue Bluetooth infrared thermometer with probe has a target ratio of 5:1, so the thermometer should be positioned as close to the target as possible for accurate readings. The default emissivity is 0.95, but it can be adjusted between 0.1 and 1.0.

Probe features
Complete fast and reliable health and safety checks with the Thermapen Bluetooth infrared thermometer. With a high accuracy of ±0.4 °C, the Thermapen IR Blue will measure internal temperatures in just three seconds. It is also provided with a FREE traceable calibration certificate so you can be confident in the accuracy of your readings.
The thermometer features a patented, automatic 360° rotational display together with a motion-sensing sleep mode when the penetration probe is left open. This automatically turns the instrument on/off when set down or picked up, maximising battery life.
Custom software available
A Software Developer Kit (SDK) is available upon request to allow integrators to write custom apps to communicate with the Thermapen IR Blue.
Please Note: New display features are only available when using the latest Software Development Kit. BLE 5.0 thermometers have a range of 50 metres depending on the user's smart device make and model. Environmental conditions may also affect the signal strength.

The Thermapen infrared thermometer casing includes Polygiene BioMaster product protection to reduce bacterial growth.
The Thermapen IR Blue is designed and built by hand at our factories in Worthing, West Sussex. Supplied with a two-year guarantee, you can be confident that your thermometer probe is built to last.
When the penetration probe is open, the thermometer will read internal temperatures using the probe. When the probe is closed, simply press the scan button to display the surface temperature.
To back up your readings, simply pair the thermometer with your device (iOS or Android), probe or scan the item to be measured and press the button to transmit your temperature data. The Thermapen Bluetooth infrared thermometer features a secure Bluetooth range of up to 50 metres.
