The TBF ThermaData® logger incorporates an external NTC thermistor probe with a one metre PVC/PFA lead that measures over the range of -40 to 125 °C and can record up to 4000 readings.

The TBF is a blind data logger with one external, fixed sensor utilising the latest in electronic technology. The TBF data logger is housed in a waterproof, ergonomic case that is designed to meet IP66/67 protection.

Each logger incorporates a red and green LED, the flashing green LED indicates that the logger is active/logging and the flashing red LED indicates that your customised pre-set alarms have been exceeded. Communications are via a USB cradle that is supplied with the ThermaData® Software. Please note: when ordering loggers it is necessary to order at least one ThermaData® logger cradle, this includes ThermaData® Studio PC software:

ThermaData Studio Software is compatible with all the ThermaData Logger models, including wireless. The software is both powerful yet user-friendly, enabling temperature data to be organised and analysed to provide management information.

How does it work?

The active ingredient in Biomaster is silver. Silver has been used in its pure form for many centuries to prevent the growth of bacteria.

Incredibly durable, long lasting and highly active, when Biomaster is added during manufacture it is dispersed throughout the product casing, will not wash off and will last for its entire lifetime. Biomaster provides antimicrobial protection without allowing bacteria to develop resistance.

 

Biomaster has 3 different modes of action:

Silver ions bind to the cell surface;
This disrupts the cell and prevents cell growth.

The silver ions are attracted to the Thiol groups in the cell enzymes;
This prevents the bacterium producing energy.

Silver ions interrupt the cell DNA;
This prevents DNA replication and new cell formation.

 

The Biomaster 3 stage mode of action does not allow bacteria cells to develop resistance, making Biomaster future proof and highly resistant against antibiotic resistant species such as MRSA.
