RTD Probes

ETI manufactures an extensive range of probes to compliment our range of portable, hand held thermometers and data-loggers. This includes the PT100 resistance temperature detector (RTD) series. These probes are slower to respond to changes in temperature than other probe types, but are generally more accurate due to their slightly different design. PT100 probes consist of a flat film or wire wound platinum resistance sensor element, with the measurement resistance value changing in line with the temperature being measured. Where requirements cannot be met from the existing standard range of probes, alternative designs can be manufactured.
