How the RFX MEAT works
RFX MEAT to GATEWAY
RFX MEAT sends readings to your RFX GATEWAY using radio frequency waves, which maintain a strong connection through thick obstacles like ovens and barbecues. This means no interrupted readings during your cook.
GATEWAY to Your Device
RFX GATEWAY sends readings to your device using WiFi, so you can monitor your cook from anywhere with an internet connection. Clip the air probe to your oven or grill and plug it into the gateway to monitor ambient temperatures from your device.
Track in the App and Cloud
Use the free ETI app to monitor your meat and pit temperatures, graph and save your cook, and set high/low alerts for push notifications. Create a free ETI Cloud account to access your data from any browser, view detailed insights, and share the results.
