The Ribbon Surface Temperature Probe is ideal for checking pipe temperatures for HVAC tests or legionella prevention, ground temperatures for laying asphalt, and any other application requiring accurate surface temperatures.

Compatible with a wide range of digital thermometers

This surface temperature probe is compatible with all ETI probes with a type K thermocouple socket, such as the Saf-T-Log and Therma K thermometers for food applications and the Therma 1, Therma 3 and Therma Elite industrial thermometers.

Unique flat ribbon technology

Unique to ETI, this surface probe features flat ribbon technology. This enables the probe to have better contact with surfaces, ensuring a fast, accurate response and minimal heat loss.

This thermocouple surface probe measures 130mm x 15mm and has a wide temperature range of -75 to 250 °C. It has an accuracy of ±1.5 °C (between -40 and 375 °C).

Multiple options for different applications

Select between a straight or right-angled probe to suit your application. The right-angled probe is ideal for hard-to-reach areas or for fixing in place for continuous monitoring when connected to a data logger.

Both Thermocouple Surface Probes are available with either straight or coiled leads to suit your preference.

Replacement probe

After my existing probe started generating an error code on the thermometer I emailed ETI and it was made clear the probe was faulty and a replacement was needed.
I ordered this via the website and it was dispatched and delivered the next day.
I have tried the probe in my thermometer and it is now was perfectly and how it should.

Easy to order, delivered on time.
Bought as a replacement probe, as previous two probes became faulty, K type connection needs to be redesigned as often fails when probe is in daily use.

My work purchase the straight flexible cable probes and through constant hard use sometimes the life can be short on them but not through the quality of the probe, it is due to me in confined spaces and the areas I get myself into because I carry my monitor and probe in my front flap pockets. I find normally the green cable can become lose near the connection point at the monitor.

So I ordered the coiled cable this time. Had it now for 3 weeks and the durability suits my needs. Seems to be the shorter cable can take a bit more rough and tough.
