What jobs and applications is the Therma 20 Blue used for?

The Therma 20 Blue accepts two different probe types, making it adaptable to different applications. It is most widely used in commercial catering, restaurants, and food manufacturing for HACCP compliance. Depending on the probe you choose to attach, you can use it to check the core temperature of cooking meats, monitor ambient fridge and freezer environments, measure between boxes of frozen food, or test the surface temperature of grills.

Where is this thermometer manufactured?

The Therma 22 Blue is designed and manufactured right here in Britain. It is built to survive in busy working environments and comes supplied with a two-year guarantee.

What probes work with the Therma 20 Blue Thermometer?

The Therma 20 Blue is specifically designed to work with a wide range of interchangeable thermistor probes. Whether you need to measure the temperature of liquids, semi-solids, or the space between boxes of frozen food, you can simply attach the correct thermistor probe for the job

Is a temperature probe included in the box with the Therma 20 Blue?

No, the probes are sold separately. This ensures you only pay for the exact style of probe you need customising your kit for your specific daily tasks.

What is the difference between the Therma 20 Blue and the Therma 22 Blue?

The main difference between the two models is the type of probes they can connect to:

  • The Therma 20 Blue accepts only thermistor probes.
  • The Therma 22 Blue is a dual-sensor model, meaning it accepts both thermistor probes and Type T thermocouple probes.

If your business only needs to use thermistor probes, the Therma 20 Blue is the perfect, cost-effective choice. If you need the flexibility to use both probe types on the same device, the Therma 22 Blue is the better option.
