A really useful thermometer. Ideal with an alarmtone on reaching the set temperature. Very fast response as well and I bought setveral different thermometer probes die different situations. Real value for just a small investment.

The best Thermometer for industrial kitchen

Excellent thermometer! I've got two probes - one for oven temp measurement and one for sticking in meat etc- bought to get accurate temps for all four ovens in my AGA, which I have just had electrified. The Chef Alarm thermometer has definitely helped me to bring back control! To a level unknown, I suspect, to most AGA owners.

Easy to use, compact electronic unit and useful programmable options. A sophisticated bit of kit. very pleased.

All the trimmings. Easy to use in handy carry case with different probes available depending on what you need it for. Intuitive use with high and low and alarms and timers. So ideal for the bbq cook. Leave one probe In The joint and then disconnect it and use another probe to check the burgers etc before reconnection to the joint. Excellent value

Was unusable at first, even after fitting new batteries so assumed the probe was faulty. A replacement probe came (free) along with an oven probe that I decided to order and now everything works fine, been used numerous times and it has shown how much fluctuation there is in my oven. Quick delivery too.

The probe and display unit have a sturdy container to keep them in. The display unit is clear and easy to use and read. The probe has a long enough lead to allow it it to easily reach items in the oven. It came with an attachment to allow it to be used to read temperature in a pan, which I find VERY useful. The fact that you can get replacement probes is a definite plus as I've bought this to replace a similar probe after it had failed and no replacement probe was available.

Very easy to use and versatile. Oven thermometer is great because you can get a constant temp readout without opening the door. This also applies to monitoring the internal temp of food in the oven. Even useful for mulled wine - I can set the alarm to sound when it has reached the right temp so I can get on with other things and avoid boiling it!

Great piece of kit, magnets are strong and the unit is accurate, plus it comes with a carry case so it doesn’t get damaged when storing. I purchased an extra probe but looking at how robust they are I don’t think I’ll need it, you can fit a second probe in the carry case though so at least if I do need it I can find it! Would highly recommend the Chef Alarm for anyone looking for a stay in the oven probe type thermometer :+1::skin-tone-2:

A perfect product for BBQ and smoking as well as in the oven. This is my second one. The first is 6 years old and still working perfect.

Excellent product. Extremely pleased with it. Great international delivery. Should probably be very gentle with it, according to other user reviews.

Very useful device. Allowed me to check 2 freezers and a fridge for safe temperature operation and confirm my oven is not lying to me. I now need another excuse for the state of my baking. The only quibble is that the temp probe is too big to comfortably fit into the case without a 90 degree bend on the cable which might shorten its life. Would recommend to anyone who wants to take control of culinary temperatures.
