Frustrated at apparent wonky oven temperatures - I have two identical ovens (inherited, not my idea but hey, useful at xmas) which perform differently. The one on the right is right and the one on the left - well it just does its own thing. Now I can tell when the oven is up to temperature (oven lies and peaks too early) and when it's wavering. No more food poisoning! (I was found not guilty for the record).
Oh the thing itself? Yep - creeps up with the air probe a little slowly but once settled, reacts quickly to the oven playing games.
Old school loud beep for temperature is irritating 'cos I don't need that (so far, I think. Do I?). You can turn it off but it'll reset next time. Pah!
Does magnet to any bit of steel (but be careful opening the overlapping cupboard door above. Ok we learn through our mistakes) although a flip down stand would have been nice.
Probe leads are unyielding and tie themselves in knots but do squeeze in oven door - how else would it work? We forgive them.
Overall it does what it says on the box (no tin) and suits my needs so - thanks.
We bought this to check the temperature of our NEFF ovens and it has done the job very well. One suggestion would be to offer the choice of probe to go with the display. We had to buy the oven probe separately and the food probe probably won't be used. Something to think about?

Feels sturdy and works pretty fast. My favourite feature is the lack of features. This thermometer does only what I need it to do, and I love it. Surplus features make for bad UX and more things that can go wrong. Thanks for making a high quality product with just the right functionality!

easy to use excellent thermometer
My built in oven thermometer is horribly inaccurate particularly at low temperatures. This thermometer has proven excellent both for general oven temperature and using the inserted food probe.

Very pleased with this. The temperature of my oven is very variable and not very accurate, this helps to avoid baking disasters.
exactly what I wanted... magnets to stick it to the front of the oven are excellent...
Only thing that is a little poor is the bracket that fixes the probe to the oven shelf.. it is flimsy and not man enough for the job unfortunately.. I had to take a pair of pliers to it to make it work satisfactorily in my oven..
Otherwise I am very happy with the product

Quick and efficient
provides a very useful way of checking the temperature accuracy of an oven and when food has reached the desired temperature. Wonderful for cooking meat joints well.

I bought this for use with bbq-ing large cuts of meat low and slow and cooking thick steaks. Perfect!

There was an initial hiccup when Royal Mail was late delivering the item (no doubt because of the virus etc), but ETI sprang into action and arranged a replacement delivery via UPS - thank you Matthew. I have used the thermometer once, and it worked very well. It looks and feels solid. The connecting cable from the probe is well designed and encased in a wire mesh, which will hopefully encourage durability. The warning buzzer is loud enough to work well in a noisy kitchen. Very simple and uncomplicated item to use. Clear instructions. It helped cook the lamb spot on. There are hundreds of manufacturers out there, and I would certainly commend ETI to friends. Easy to award 5 stars. Steve J.
Easy to use, reads quickly, great product. Can use it in the food from the start of cooking or can probe food temp once removed.
For me it kitchen utensils must be easy to use and this thermometer is absoluty perfect! Super fast delivery on top.
Meets expectations. Only minor improvement suggestion is that it could stay in place better when attached with magnets.
