My first review of this item was for one that I bought to test for use in a simple travel humidor: that has proven so good that I’ve now bought another to fit to a more sophisticated cedar wood humidor. Excellent product - highly recommended.
I bought this for a cigar humidor that I was making, as most of the instruments available for humidors aren’t very accurate nor reliable. The eti instrument is perfect, as I can check the temperature and humidity inside without having to open the case. With a Boveda humidity control pack in the humidor, the hygrometer always reads within c.1% of the Boveda humidity rating and gives me a clear indication of when the pack needs replacing.
