Web Designer

Job Description:

ETI require an enthusiastic person to work alongside our web developer and marketing team in their growing business overseeing the development of the companies two websites; front and back end, one commercial and one consumer based.

The Role includes:

• Assisting with ongoing development of company websites.
• Routine updates to products, images, pricing and special offer pricing
• Routine generation of product voucher codes 
• Administration of company domain names
• Ensuring SSL certificates are secure and up to date
• Regular web log inspection for abuse
• Regular web server monitoring for performance
• Google Adwords Account optimisation
• Google Analytics report generation
• Integration of 360 product views on website
• Monitoring and reporting on web site sales figures

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

• knowledge/experience of HTML hand coding
• some knowledge of PHP MySQL an advantage 
• experience of e-commerce & CMS systems 
• familiarity with SSH and SSL protocols/software an advantage
• knowledge of .htaccess protocols an advantage
• experience with Google Adwords and Google Analytics
• email account configuration skills
• understanding of CSS (Cascading Style Sheet)
• domain name administration
• MySQL database manipulation – CSV import/export
• web log interpretation skills
• image and web page optimisation
• familiarity with Photoshop, Acrobat Pro & Excel

Terms:

Electronic Technician Apprentices

Job Description:

Apprentice position from Summer 2018 to learn to use electronic test equipment, hand a small power tools. Learn to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets and written instructions to install components and circuit boards. Day to day tasks associated with running our in-house assembly capability. Learn to calibrate, repair and test assembled units.

Terms:

Warehouse and Storage Apprentice

Job Description:

Apprentice position from Summer 2018 to work in warehouse administration and stock control (logistics). Filling orders, packaging and dispatching goods. Managing, organising and retrieving stock. Auditing and checking inventory physically and by computer. Processing returned goods. Managing the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods and materials. Required to lift boxes and walk or stand for most of the day.

Apprenticeship to prepare for a warehouse operative role. 2 year programme with 12 month training support via Campus Training Ltd to take the level 2 exam.

Terms:
