These thermocouple probes have been designed to measure high temperature and are suited to a range of uses. 

The majority of ETI manufactured Thermocouple probes are from Type “K” Thermocouple wire. The specification of Class 1 Type “K” Thermocouple Wire is detailed in British Standard BS EN 60584-2:1993, as follows: ±1.5 °C between -40 & +333 °C, ±0.4 % between +333 & 1000 °C. ETI probes are manufactured from Thermocouple wire which is chosen for improved performance and is specified as follows: ±1.5 °C between -40 & 0 °C, ±0.5 °C between 0 & 100 °C, ±1.5 °C between 100 & 333 °C, ±0.4 % between 333 & 1000 °C. However, certain probes do not include the selected wire and are therefore specified to be accurate to the BS EN 60584-2:1993 specifications, as above. These probes include most industrial probes including: 123-000 Surface Probes, 123-020/8 Heavy Duty Surface Probes, 123-204/212 High Temperature Probes, 133-040 Pipe Clamp Probes, 133-080 Velcro Pipe Probes, 133-213 MI Liquid Probes.
