Thermistor Probes
A core part of ETI’s probe range is the Thermistor probe series. These probes are unique in that the have a negative temperature co-efficient – this means they experience a decrease in electrical resistance when their temperature is raised.
Thermistor probes are not recommended for the measurement of surface temperatures but are ideal for working in sub-zero temperatures (down to -40 °C) due to the PVC and fluoroethylene-propylene leads that can be used to manufacture them.
Where requirements cannot be met from the existing standard range of probes, alternative designs can be manufactured.
